Our Story 

IIn the summer of 2022, our founder, Kerri M. Roberts, spent a week reading, praying, and reflecting in Innsbrook, Missouri — a quiet place that inspired big thinking.
While reading Through His Eyes by Jerram Barrs, she began to consider what it would look like to fully embrace her unique calling as a woman of faith and business leader.

Almost immediately, the name Salt & Light came to mind.

She opened to the book of Matthew and read:

“You are the salt of the earth… You are the light of the world… let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”
— Matthew 5:13–16 (NIV)

It felt right — both for the mission and for the way she wanted to serve.
Salt & Light Advisors would exist to bring “salt” — wisdom, truth, and experience — and “light” — encouragement, clarity, and hope — to the businesses it serves.

Today, that same mission continues as we help companies build people systems that shine with integrity and purpose.
